Live Performance at 316Centro, CDMX, Mexico

This set explored themes of resource extraction and violence in Veracruz. Kafele Williams and Julia Edith Rigby gave accompaniment to NINA NINA’s project exploring gaps in the region's historical and musical memory. The project focuses on Coatzacoalcos, NINA NINA's hometown, and how a city can be rebuilt using technology, sound art, spirituality, memory, and the wisdom of Mexico's mother culture: the Olmec culture.
